PURPOSE: 
Enforcement and optimization of the QA management system for ensuring fulfillment of the customer requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensuring the implementation of and compliance with the QA management system by all the affected departments
  • Ensuring compliance with all the documentation systems; customer portals; etc
  • Reporting on the current QA situation at all times
  • Error elimination measures and process optimization
  • Introduction and maintenance of modern measurement and evaluation systems QA
  • Preventive customer support
  • Audits
  • Ensuring a high level of supply quality by regular quality monitoring of purchased parts.
  • Ensures that the requirements of China's Implementation Rules for Compulsory Certification of Motor Vehicle Products (for interior trim parts: CNCA-C11-09:2014) are fulfilled and that the complete implementation is secured and adjusted periodically according to the given changes.
  • Ensures that CCC certified products at all times comply with the Chinese product standard (for interior trim parts: GB 8410-2006)
  • Ensures that a procedure exists that controls the labeling of the product with the CCC logo
  • Ensures that a procedure exists which controls the marking of the CCC logo, and assures that it is not applied on faulty or non-certified products. The procedure must also make sure that the logo cannot be put on any products that have been modified after certification without an adjustment of the certificate.
  • Ensures that the CoP Control Plan is created and implemented
  • Ensures that any relevant changes are announced to the Chinese Certification Authority before production of marked CCC products is allowed
  • Optimization of project related advanced quality planning activities in project phases for certain programs assigned including holistic approach for plant hand-off - Cradle to Grave management of quality activities.
  • Ensuring Quality is represented in project meeting for assigned program
  • Create, track, address and close open items related to Quality in project
  • Reporting on the current QA situation at all times during various phases
  • Organization and planning of PPAP activities for on time submissions
  • Manage all PRAM items in I-Share and report during project reviews
  • Mange all engineering change evaluations and implementations in I-Share for Quality
  • Attend tooling trials for Quality if needed


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor in Industrial, Mechanical, or any related Engineering degree, Economics, Business Administration or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in the position in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry




REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Plastics, process and coating technologies
  • Production methods (for example, Toyota Production System, Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping)
  • Quality management systems, automotive
  • Measuring room technology, laboratory methods
  • Management techniques
  • PPAP
  • IT Knowledge (Office, SAP)
  • English language skills


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
    • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
