PURPOSE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as a point of contact for the Team for general and specific system requirements as a specialist in data analysis, calculation, and the writing of processes.
- Develops, analyzes, and reports on foreign supply activities to Management, to steer the daily business needs.
- Provides calculations and reports based on data and risk analysis, regarding the department’s KPIs, and provides countermeasures.
- Plans, steers, monitors, and forecasts transportation and returnable container management budgets (inbound Plant 10 and Packaging Plants).
- Implements, steers, and follows up on penalties for process violations with process partners and suppliers (debit notes) related to transportation and container management.
- Interacts with internal and external process partners regarding budgets, debits, and clarifies questions or disputes.
- Analyzes financial performance and recommends necessary actions to improve results.
- Performs regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed to support operations and strategic decision-making.
- Schedules, plans, and facilitates onboarding and training of Associates.
- Conducts data analysis and reporting on various topics, including training, to support continuous improvement.
- Extracts, compiles, and analyzes supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments.
- Represents the business as an expert in cross-functional teams and meetings.
- Identifies new business opportunities, services, and products to support continuous improvement in the department.
- Responsible for certain internal controls, periodic reviews, and training others on VPS, internal controls, and OSHA requirements to ensure compliance.
- Ensures weekly/monthly reporting is performed in line with business requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Business or related field or the equivalent of 4 years of related experience.
- 3+ years of professional experience in business managmenet to include experience in purchasing, data analysis, and training.
- 3+ years of experience working within a project/team environment preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 1+ years knowledge of information system concepts and technologies.
- 1+ years project management
- 1+ years written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- 1+ years ability to interface with the business to meet requirements and targets.
- 1+ years MS Windows and Office skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
