The project is scheduled to start in Q1 2026 and conclude by Q4 2027. PURPOSE:
Design, plan, and oversee the technical architecture of the Blue Yonder WMS across 80 global sites. Ensure that the system is scalable, secure, and fully aligned with business objectives. Provide strategic guidance for system integration, rollout, and optimization while documenting best practices to support global adoption.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, plan, and maintain the architecture of Blue Yonder WMS across multiple global sites.
- Develop system standards, integration frameworks, and technical blueprints for scalable deployment.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and consultants to ensure architecture aligns with business requirements and global rollout objectives.
- Guide technical decisions related to system configuration, customization, and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Identify and mitigate architectural risks, ensuring system performance, security, and reliability.
- Document architecture, best practices, and implementation guidelines to support global adoption.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to system administrators and project teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to optimize system efficiency and scalability.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a System Architect or similar role, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or enterprise WMS environments.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS or comparable warehouse management systems.
- Strong expertise in system design, integration, and deployment of complex enterprise solutions.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and guide large-scale, multi-site software implementations.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Deep understanding of software architecture principles, system integration, and enterprise IT environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Willingness to travel globally as required
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience with global software rollouts and multi-site system deployment.
- Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing business processes.
- Familiarity with IT security, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Experience mentoring and leading technical teams
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.
FLSA STATUS/WORKING SCHEDULE:
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: Standard business hours, flexible for project needs.
- Overtime: As required
- Travel: As needed for global travel
